The Fair Housing Act
The Fair Housing Act, enacted in 1968 and amended in 1988, prohibits discrimination in housing based on protected characteristics. Under this law, it is illegal to:

- 7Refuse to permit reasonable modifications to housing for persons with disabilities
- 8Intimidate, threaten, or interfere with anyone exercising their fair housing rights
Reasonable Accommodations & Modifications
We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations and allowing reasonable modifications for individuals with disabilities.
Reasonable Accommodations
Changes to rules, policies, practices, or services to ensure equal access to housing.
Examples: Service animal policies, assigned parking spaces, rent payment arrangements
Reasonable Modifications
Physical changes to the property to ensure full use and enjoyment of the premises.
Examples: Wheelchair ramps, grab bars, widened doorways, lowered counters
